As the Americans soldiers did when they landed in France during World War II, We landed in Normandy for the D-DAY Race ! Highly motivated to win the battle, Allies from MI-GSO landed on Juno Beach with no fear to overcome their limits.
In the first hour of the assault, the 15km commando and the 5km battalion snuck in with a flawless cooperation, through rows of obstacles (such as Belgian gates, hedgehogs or smoky blockhouse) to go within the countryside.
Then, the two divisions progressed in the thick Norman bocage, still ready to cross steep shores, muddy ditch, icy rivers and labyrinths of straw!
The operation officially ended on Sunday after a debriefing and well-deserved supply for the troops.
On the next Monday morning, same brave soldiers took over their mission in their respective base, as strategic and challenging than the race, with their additional allies!
