The Heroes’ Race is the biggest gathering event in France. Unique in its kind and entirely dedicated to associations, it has already raised more than 10.5 million euros in favor of more than 200 causes. For 6 years now, this event has allowed associations to mobilize and gather around their cause.
The Heroes’ Race will take place in Lyon (Parc of Gerland) and in Paris (Parc of Saint-Cloud) simultaneously on June 18th. Three formats are available for all levels 2km, 6km and 10km.
Hong Giai and his team from MI-GSO Lyon will attend the race in Lyon. They chose to support the « APPEL » Association which make actions at the Institute of Hematology and Pediatric Oncology in Lyon and also in Saint Étienne. It supports children with leukemia and cancers and their families in their daily battle, through concrete actions i.e. moral and material assistance, free hosting, funding for activities within and outside of the hospital, funding research projects, particularly against the pain and much more.

Based in Pontoise, in the Val d’Oise region, the association has set up an active center to take care of the new town of Cergy-Pontoise, which helps to create a link between families. It supports and promotes the care recommended by HAS and ANESM and works in collaboration with professionals trained in these educational approaches.
